"The 2012 Lorenzo's Heritage comes from an alluvial bench of red gravelly soils, and the non-irrigated vines are at least 100-years-old. Another blend of Zinfandel, Carignan, Petite Sirah and Alicante Bouchet, it was aged in 30% new French oak, it achieved 15.4% natural alcohol, and 600 cases were produced. Full-bodied with copious notes of charcuterie, roasted meat, Provencal herbs, lavender and spice box, this full, thick, juicy red exploits in a brilliant manner these old field blends of mixed blacks. Drink it over the next 5-6 years."
